Always unique and original, Gas Bijoux jewellery sets continue to seduce women from Saint-Germain-des-Prés and around the world. A love-story that lasts!

This summer, Gas Bijoux, the haute-fantaisie jewellery brand, celebrates its 50th anniversary. And if nothing has changed, everything has changed! André Gas, the young artist from Marseille, who graduated from the Beaux-Arts de Paris and sold his lucky charm jewellery on the beach in Saint-Tropez is still there, joined by his children, Marie and Olivier. In Marseille, some 80 gifted artisans with unique know-how continue to manufacture, in limited editions and by hand, bracelets and necklaces that women who love talismans turned into metal, coral, rock crystal, wood or exotic skin jewellery will fight for. André Gas has remained faithful to his original idea: to give meaning to jewellery, to create objects that carry love. Without marketing, just driven by his inspiration. And yet, Gas Bijoux has become a world-renowned brand. Didn’t the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, recently wear the spectacular Onde Gourmette earrings? And, among the brand’s 300 worldwide retailers, hasn’t the Saint-Germain-des-Prés store become the showroom, where Gas Bijoux submits its latest creations to a particularly well-informed clientele? It is on rue de Grenelle that they can discover the return of acetate, a material that Gas Bijoux revisits with style, sometimes openwork, sometimes wrapped in python skin. A desire born from the re-reading of the company’s archives. Creative elements are taken from it to enrich today’s jewellery. This will not prevent Gas Bijoux, next fall, from reissuing some of its iconic pieces. The adventure continues, as a family…
