The confidential grand cru
For more than 200 years, this Saint-Émilion has happily combined tradition and quality. A small production reserved for connoisseurs!
ASaint-Émilion Grand Cru at a low price (€18 on average), this is news that will be welcomed by lovers of great wines. And as only 20,000 bottles are produced each year in the château’s cellars, this nectar is confidential and can only be tasted in Saint-Émilion, or ordered online. A gastronomic secret that will ensure the success of a refined dinner with your guests.
Bruno Dupeyrat, a descendant of the family that has owned the vineyards since 1792, readily admits that he does not seek to produce his wine in large quantities. Château Saint Martial is an important part of his family heritage. Seven generations of Dupeyrat have worked the vineyard, planted on 4 hectares, and made this great Bordeaux wine with passion. It is no coincidence that the menhir, powerful and unchanging, is the symbol of the château! Today, the winemaker strives to maintain the tradition and perpetuate the quality of Château Saint Martial, composed of 75% black Merlot and 25% Cabernet Franc, made in the traditional way. His wine has won several awards at the Concours des grands vins de France in Mâcon (gold medals in 2015 and 2016) and at the Féminalise competition in Beaune (gold medals in 2011, 2012 and 2016). Several vintages, dating back to 2011, are available. A secret that must not be revealed…
