A Parisian brand with a strong Oriental influence, Dice Kayek has chosen to open its first boutique in Saint-Germain-des-Prés. And that’s no coincidence!
The fact that a fast-growing fashion brand chose Saint-Germain-des-Prés to open its very first boutique says a lot… Born in Bursa, Turkey, the first capital of the Ottoman sultans, designer Ece Ege and her sister, Ayse Ege, founders of the Dice Kayek brand, settled in the Saint-Germain-des-Prés district 20 years ago. Moving to rue Saint-Benoît is therefore natural, but this choice also indicates an ambition: to be an art brand at the epicentre of Paris’ cultural and intellectual life. And it is no coincidence that the architect Bernard Dubois designed this boutique, which opened last summer, in an old art gallery, emblematic of Saint-Germain-des-Prés.
An atypical, sober and spectacular place with its two majestic marble walls, reflects the Dice Kayek style, guaranteeing a strong and unique personality: clothes with architectural and minimalist lines, cut in beautiful fabrics, with clever folds and decorated with sumptuous embroideries. An encounter between Ottoman and French craftsmanship through luxurious pieces. Refined and sophisticated, they meet the requirements of the Parisian haute couture while remaining ready-to-wear. Many clothes have already found their place in the world’s greatest museums, from the West Coast to the Netherlands or the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. For its first boutique, Dice Kayek also created a surprise by offering its first shoe collection, available exclusively on rue Saint-Benoît! Similarly, semi-couture pieces are only offered here, more precisely in the boudoir of the boutique where fashionistas are welcomed with a Turkish coffee and loukoums. Here, you will experience a true customer service, perfectly illustrating Dice Kayek’s identity: a Parisian brand with an oriental touch. In 2020, Ece Ege and Ayse Ege will launch their first evening bag collection. But until then, fashion lovers will enjoy, every month, a selection of ready-to-wear pieces and the luxurious world of Dice Kayek.
