The Emporio Armani Caffè —same spot as the old Drugstore— open for 20 years, is a true reference and living space in Saint-Germain-des-Prés.
And, since February 2018, hailed by the critics and their peers, the happy owners Massimo Mori and his daughter, Céline Mori, were awarded the famous Michelin star thanks to the excellence of their chef Massimo Trigali. At the Ristorante Armani, located on the first floor of the Armani store, you can enjoy the must among ravioli “Carborini” tomato, Fassone beef carpaccio and organic rack of lamb. But, not only that. You’ll be overcome by the elegance, the Italian chivalry and the savoir-faire of the Armani Caffè, the shop and the terrace brasserie, all real living spaces. At the helm of this “concept” is Céline Mori, the worthy representative of the House for 14 years as well as of beautiful Italy. This pretty and bubbly young woman knows how to share her enthusiasm and her beliefs: “One of my goals is to recreate the atmosphere of boulevard Saint-Germain in the olden days”. In addition to being open throughout the day (pastries, snacks, meals, as you please!); as of June, from 6 p.m., the terrace brasserie (try their tomato pasta, it is an institution of 20 years!) will host live singers to accompany your small and large courses, or your aperitif, and as always in a chic and friendly atmosphere, the hallmark of the place. At your next visit, you may be lucky to be greeted by the manager, who —when she is not at an Armani fashion show, or at almost any of the Italian brands of luxury!— ensures the culinary performance of events or takes care of their other restaurant, Mori Venice Bar at rue Vivienne (phew!). She will be in her favourite place, here with you. And happy you will be!
